NASHVILLE, Tenn. (May 23, 2019) – National Pro Fastpitch League partner, Rapsodo and Paige Parker recently announced an agreement for an On Player Ad Location for the 2019 season.
Parker, the sixth overall draft selection for the USSSA Pride in 2018, launched her professional career by contributing to the seventh regular season and fourth Championship Series title for the Pride.
While at Oklahoma, Parker was a highly decorated player contributing to two NCAA Women’s College World Series (WCWS) Championships for the Sooners, while becoming a four-time NFCA All American, WCWS Most Outstanding Player, three-time WCWS All Tournament Team Member, four-time Big 12 Pitcher of the Year, Big 12 Female Athlete of the Year, Big 12 Female Sportsperson of the Year and NFCA Freshman of the Year, among others.
“I am so excited to be partnering with Rapsodo in the OPAL program,” commented Parker. “I am thrilled to be showcasing a brand to the softball community that provides such crucial information in both pitching and hitting that will help athletes take their game to the next level.”
Rapsodo joined the league as a supplier partner in 2018 and have implemented their technology throughout the league to help athletes better understand true performance metrics. In addition to their league engagement, Rapsodo began an individual player partnership with Parker, a partnership that was expanded in 2019 through the league’s OPAL program.
“We are excited to continue our partnership with Paige Parker and National Pro Fastpitch,” stated Rapsodo General Manager of North America, Art Chou. “Paige’s commitment to helping young athletes develop and succeed makes her a great representative of the Rapsodo brand. We are looking forward to an exciting NPF season!”
Parker and the USSSA Pride will open action on Thursday, June 6, when they visit the Canadian Wild of Southern Illinois for their team debut at Rent One Park in Marion, IL.
