Initiative Looks to Connect Grass Roots Participation With Professionals

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (November 13, 2018)– National Pro Fastpitch launched the NPF Developmental Partnership Program (DPP) today, as announced by the Nashville based league office.

The program is specifically designed to connect youth level participants, trainers, leagues, teams and communities, with the professional level of the sport of softball, and specifically, the professional athletes themselves.

Partners will join the program through any of three different categories: Park Partner, Performance Partner or Playing Partner, each of which provides an official status designation along with a broad list of membership perks that includes game passes, player VIP events, access to special discounts through NPF Official Partners and Suppliers, and official league licensee status.

“At the league level, we are always looking for ways to connect tomorrow’s generation of professionals with our players of today, and this program can go a long way in accomplishing that on a number of levels,” commented NPF Commissioner, Cheri Kempf. “In addition to making the player/player connection, this program will also prioritize the relationship between our Developmental Partners and our committed and loyal sponsors and suppliers. That direct connection, for our supporters on both sides of the equation, is a league priority.

The DPP membership is $250 annually and can be engaged by playing or training facilities, academies, associations, individual or organizational teams, or leagues.
