Entering its 40th year of continuous softball coverage, Big Time Softball is a quarterly publication. Partnership with the NPF will continue in 2019 with coverage of the College Draft, the NPFCowles Cup Championship and the Individual Award recipients.


ESPNW is ESPN’s content and digital business initiative for women. Presented in a blog format, offers fan- and athlete-centric content geared toward female athletes and sports fans aged 18+. The site, supported by a Twitter and Facebook presence, incorporate posts by top female sports columnists and bloggers, pro athletes, expert contributors and news from a variety of ESPN and non-ESPN news outlets.

Excelle Sports

Excelle Sports is the first multimedia platform dedicated solely to women’s sports, offering news, features, interviews, video, scores and rankings, local resources and a curated shop. We are the only ones telling the stories of athletes, coaches and teams around the world as they deserve to be told. Excelle is tapping into 30+ sport-specific global communities, each of which has millions of passionate and highly-engaged members.


HeyBucket is a nationwide softball website that covers everything softball-related including recreational, high school, travel, college and professional play. Find players, tournaments, coaches, a photo gallery, a chat room and so much more!

With a passionate editorial staff comprised of experts (travel ball to college to professional to international), we strive to provide the highest level of expertise and insight about the game of softball. We cover softball at every level, from high school to travel ball, to college, up to international and professional with weekly rankings, top performers, previews, recaps and stories on the industry and the lifestyle. We’re the only outlet consistently covering every level of softball.


Youth Sports Performance Network — A place where any player, coach or parent could find advice, ideas, practice techniques, drills, and more from the very best coaches/mentors. We set out to provide comprehensive resource for players, parents, and coaches that they could access anytime, anywhere, even during practice.

NPF is intended to provide family entertainment for people of all ages and to showcase the top talent in fast-pitch softball today. The primary goal of the league is to secure fast-pitch softball as a professional sports option for generations to come. The league also aspires to entertain and provide positive role models for young girls. NPF athletes exhibit their disciplined work ethic, dedication, and love for the sport through their actions, both on and off the field. The players that represent the league are college-educated, articulate and passionate young women who embrace leadership roles within their communities and strive to reciprocate the support of NPF fans.

Six teams will compete in 2019. Those teams will represent players from three continents and six separate international teams. NPF has committed to, and built, a strong national presence through its plentiful action shared on a variety of media platforms, including NPFTV, ESPN+, ELEVEN Sports, B/R Live (presented by Turner), Flo Sports,, Olympic Channel and others. Paired with growing in-venue attendance, this increased exposure provides a solid foundation for partners with whom the league shares a common target audience. In the 2019 season, the entire slate of action, all 144 games plus the Championship Series, will stream live on a myriad of digital platforms, including NPFTV, FloSoftball, and ESPN+. This coverage consistently generates measurable return for league sponsors, partners and suppliers.
