Motion DNA Awarded Contract with National Pro Fastpitch

PHOENIX, AZ– Motion DNA Corporation announced today it has been selected as the official biomechanical analysis company for National Pro Fastpitch (NPF). Under the terms of the agreement, Motion DNA will conduct annual physicals on the players and archive each individual player’s data. Motion DNA technicians will also be available to assist the teams in developing off-season strength and conditioning, rehab programs, and enhancing skill development.

“For years, over six million girls annually have participated in fast-pitch softball programs with the dream of securing one of a couple dozen spots on the Olympic team,” said Zig Ziegler, President and Founder of Motion DNA. “Now those girls have set their sites on becoming a professional athlete in softball and Motion DNA will be there to help them along the way.”

Motion DNA will receive exposure in each ballpark and during the games television broadcasts as a major partner of the league. The deal negotiated with new NPF president, Bill Conroy, also requires that Motion DNA and the NPF host a series of educational and promotional clinics for competitive and recreational coaches and athletes. NPF athletes and coaches will be selected to participate in the nationwide program designed to create exposure for both the NPF and Motion DNA. Motion DNA’s marketing representatives will assist in promoting the company events, products and services while on display at each of the leagues 144 games. Motion DNA is currently seeking contracts with professional football, baseball, and basketball leagues.

Six independently owned and operated pro fastpitch teams are slated to play 48 games each, coast-to-coast in 2005, for a total of 144 league-wide games.
