NASHVILLE, Tenn. (May 23, 2019) – Chicago Bandit infielder, Courtney Gano and Paramount Container recently announced an On Player Ad Location partnership for the 2019 National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) season.
Gano was a free agent addition for Chicago in 2018. In her rookie season, she posted a .384 batting average with five homeruns and 26 RBI. The righthander came on hot posting hits in nine consecutive games to begin her NPF professional career, batting .533 with 12 RBI over that period.
Gano played her collegiate career at the University of Washington where she put up career numbers of a .373 batting average with a .457 on-base percentage and a .627 slugging percentage. She also paced Washington as a junior with 18 homeruns and 59 RBI. She was named to the USA Softball team in 2018, where she played in the Japan All-Star Series, USA International Cup, and Japan Cup. Prior to NPF, the California native excelled overseas with the Italian-based Softball Club Forli in 2017, amassing a .540 batting average.

Gano and her Chicago Bandits team will open their 2019 season on Thursday, June 6th, when they host the Cleveland Comets in their home opener at Parkway Bank Sports Complex. Overall 2019 league action will debut on May 28th, when the Beijing Shougang Eagles host the Canadian Wild of Southern Illinois at Beijing’s home venue of Jackie Robinson Park in Daytona Beach, FL.
