MONTCLAIR, NJ - Game two of the Arizona Heat and NY/NJ Juggernaut series has been cancelled this evening due to constant rain showers in the Northeast. The teams will try and play a doubleheader tomorrow evening, with the first pitch scheduled for 5:05 p.m. EDT.
Because the teams will be unable to get all three games in while in Montclair, the final game of the series will be made up when the Juggernaut travel to Tucson. The Nauts will travel to Arizona to take on the Heat for the final regular season series of the season.
Amanda Scott is expected to take the mound for the Juggernaut in the first game of the doubleheader, while Erica Beach is expected to start for the Heat. In game two, the Nauts will send Kaci Clark to the mound opposing the Heat's Danielle Henderson. The second game of the doubleheader will begin at approximately 7:35 p.m. EDT.
Arizona's next home game is scheduled for Saturday, July 31 at 7:35 p.m. PDT when the California Sunbirds visit Hi Corbett Field. The game against the Sunbirds will feature a fireworks extravaganza immediately following the contest.
