NATIONAL PRO FASTPITCH SIGNS MULTIYEAR AGREEMENTS WITH MAJESTIC ATHLETIC AND RAWLINGS

Denver, Colo. National Pro Fastpitch has signed multiyear sponsorship and licensing agreements with Majestic Athletic, a leading provider of authentic team uniforms, athletic apparel and sports licensed apparel and softball equipment producer, Rawlings.
The new sponsorship and licensing agreements follow the recent partnership between National Pro Fastpitch and Major League Baseball, which serves as NPFs Official League Development Partner in the category of fastpitch.
Regarding the new relationships with Majestic Athletic and Rawlings, NPF President/CEO Richard Levine said, Our relationship with Major League Baseball has led to new opportunities, including the introduction to many of the top companies in team sports apparel and sporting goods. We are very pleased that Majestic Athletic and Rawlings, two key partners of Major League Baseball, have made the commitment to extend their relationships to the womens pro game with National Pro Fastpitch.
Majestic Athletic has committed to a three year deal as Official Supplier of team uniforms and athletic wear, including jerseys, jackets, shorts, visors, and technical garments. Majestic Athletic developed the uniforms for each team merging colors and marks with home and road performance uniform designs created exclusively for NPF by Majestic for sale at games and retail nationwide.
The three-year deal provides exposure opportunities for Majestic Athletic at all league games the following two years. Majestic Athletic has the option to renew the agreement in 2005.
In a five year deal, Rawlings has signed on to be the Official Supplier in the categories of softballs, bats, and fielding gloves on both league and team levels.
The deal alsoincludes a cash sponsorship in addition to equipment. Rawlings will leverage the relationship by using the National Pro Fastpitch league and team names and logos to market its products.
The agreements with Rawlings and Majestic Athletic point to strong momentum building for the league as prepares for the season launch June 1 which runs through mid-August with Championship playoffs and finals will be held at the end of August. NPF will host a series of fastpitch clinics around the country beginning in April, and host exhibition games over Memorial Day weekend.
National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) is headquartered in Denver, Colo. The league, created to give elite women fastpitch players the opportunity to pursue a professional career in their chosen sport, has operated since 1997 under the names Womens Pro Fastpitch (WPF) and Womens Pro Softball League (WPSL).
