The Festival is supported by National Pro Fastpitch (NPF), the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA), ASA/USA Softball, and the United States Specialty Sports Association (USSSA).

Champions Festival™ was developed by Sue Enquist, former UCLA player and head coach, 11-time National Champion and inductee to five Hall of Fames. The Festival is directed by Women’s Professional Softball League Coach of the Year (2000) Cindy Bristow and business executive Robin Pokoj, both from Softball Excellence.

“The Champions Festival™ is your gateway to creating your own Champions mindset,” said Bristow. “Learn from Olympic, NPF, and NCAA champions how to think, act, and play like a champion!”

Features of the Champions Festival™ include a Champions’ Toolbox: mental toughness, technical softball instruction, and nutrition. This year’s curriculum will include specific recruit education for the player, parent, and coach.

“We want to recalibrate how the softball player views competition,” said Enquist. “It’s about committing to the Champion’s Declaration that shapes your actions day to day. The player, her parents and youth coaches will leave with a clear roadmap for excellence and have a lot of fun in the process!”

The inaugural Champions Festival™ took place on June 6, 2011, in conjunction with the Women’s College World Series in Oklahoma City. The Champions Festival is an indoor leadership, softball instruction, and recruit education event for the parent, player, and coach of all ages.
