USSSA to Present Two Regular Season Games on CSS

National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) affiliate, USSSA Pride has struck a deal with Comcast Sports (CSS) to air two regional regular season games. The broadcasts will feature the USSSA Florida Pride and the Carolina Diamonds.

The first meeting between the two teams will be recorded on June 21st at Jackie Robinson Stadium, home of the Daytona Cubs in Daytona Beach, Florida and aired on Saturday, June 30th 12:00 p.m. EST on CSS. The second meeting will be recorded on July 6th and will air Sunday, July 15th 12:30 EST on CSS. The July 6th match-up between the two teams will take place at Tiger Park, home of the LSU Tigers.

Comcast Sports (CSS) is the face of college sports in the South and covers thirteen states across the Southeast. CSS reaches over 6 million subscribers and encompasses one of the most dedicated college fan bases in the country, the SEC. In 2012,  9 of its 11 SEC softball programs qualified for NCAA post season play.

CSS is also seen in over 40 designated marketing areas (DMA’s) and includes 4 top 20 markets: Atlanta, Houston, Tampa/St.Petersburg and Miami/Fort Lauderdale. Some of the other top DMA’s where CSS has a footprint is Birmingham, Greenville/Spartanburg, Jacksonville, Memphis, Nashville, and West Palm Beach.
