ROSEMONT, Ill. -- With an 11-5 record and first place in their hands, the Chicago Bandits are lighting up Rosemont Stadium on and off the field. At the half way point of the season, Bandits fans have experienced AAGPBL Throwback Night, the first ever Battle of the Sexes game in a National Pro Fastpitch stadium, Scout Night, Mascot Day and of course, who can forget the Bandits being brought out for starting lineups on Harley Davidson motorcycles for opening day!
Thirteen games remain in the Chicago Bandits home schedule and exciting promotions highlight many of them. Here is a quick look at what’s in store for the next five:

Thursday, July 7 - Sunday, July 10 vs Akron Racers
The Bandits return to Rosemont Stadium tomorrow to begin a four game series against the Akron Racers. The Racers feature a few former Bandits, including pitcher Kristina Thorson and short stop Nicole Pauly. Thursday, July 7 also features Business Appreciation Night with discounted tickets for businesses and packages that include a free public address announcement during the game.
The ever popular Kid’s Day returns on Friday, July 8 for game two of the four game series. The Friday matchup features a special start time of 12:35 p.m. as the only day game of the 2011 season. The day game features special discounts for groups of kid’s and plenty of activities on top of the Bandits game to entertain the children in attendance. Outlaw and possibly some friends will be roaming the stadium to hang out with kid’s all day. The first 300 kid’s in attendance on Kid’s Day will receive a GameWorks Gift Card.
Saturday, July 9 is shaping up to be an outstanding night in Bandits history with over 1000 tickets pre-sold for the third game of the series. An NPF themed poster will be handed out at the gates to the first 300 fans on Saturday and kid’s get to run the bases following the game.
Faith Night returns for the 2011 season on Sunday, July 10. A special $5,10 ticket package has been created for all faith groups. The Sunday finale of the four game series is sure to be an intense rubber match with both teams wanting to hold the top ranking in the NPF.
Tuesday, July 12 vs King and His Court
The classic four man King and His Court team comes to Rosemont Stadium as part of their final 100 games farewell tour on Tuesday, July 12. The King and His Court started back in 1946 with the “King of Softball” himself, Mr. Eddie Feigner. First pitch is scheduled for 7:35 p.m. on Tuesday.
