NPF Annouces New Partnership with EvoShield

Nashville - The National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) League announced today its new partnership with EvoShield. EvoShield manufactures what is considered to be game changing protective gear.

EvoShield is already used by many of the top collegiate softball programs across the country.  Beyond the sport of softball, they have protective gear utilized in the NFL, all NCAA sports, MLB, NHL, and European Soccer. EvoShield has partnered with the NPF in an effort to continue growth in their fastpitch market.  The impact-dispersing protective wear is designed to allow athletes full range of motion while uniquely guarding the body.  To shield players on the field, EvoShield offers a protective Rib Shirt, thigh guards, wrist guards, and multi-purpose guards to help prevent thumb, hand and toe injuries.

" We are very excited to be an Official Promotional Partner of the NPF. It is our goal to bring the best protective gear to the entire fastpitch community. To have this opportunity to not only protect the top fastpitch players in the world, but to also help support and endorse such an outstanding organization, is a true honor for us. We look forward to the continued success of the league and our relationship for years to come. " commented Ashley Raborn, Director of Softball for EvoShield.

The company now known as EvoShield, LLC was established in 2006. The initial team was comprised of a chemist, a cardiologist, and a group of former collegiate and professional athletes with a mutually unconventional idea; comfortable sports equipment. For the past 5 and a half years, designed was a revolutionary material that has begun to change the world of sports protection.  Evoshield's is body-conforming technology that raises the bar. The high tech, lightweight material is a creative fusion of 5 layers of fiberglass resin, that reacts to oxygen. When formed and fully hardened, the armour takes the impact of a ball, hockey puck, or other obstructive objects and disperses the energy through its 5 layers, lessening the probability of injury.

"We were first introduced to EvoShield through our athletes. It seemed the athletes who had discovered EvoShield were quickly attached to the complete protection balanced with total comfort that the EvoShield products provide. ” said NPF Commissioner, Cheri Kempf. "We are proud to now have EvoShield step into the NPF Promotional Partner category and look forward to increasing their exposure through all levels of softball."
