AKRON, Ohio - Due to inclement weather conditions at Firestone Stadium in Akron, this evening’s National Pro Fastpitch 7:05 p.m. game between the Akron Racers and Arizona Heat has been rescheduled for Tuesday, June 15 at 6:05 p.m.
Sunday’s game, which was suspended due to lightning after six and two-thirds innings of play, will be completed at 6:05 p.m. tomorrow. Tuesday’s second game will begin 10 minutes after the completion of the suspended game.
Tuesday, June 15 – Game Format
• 6:05 p.m. – Completion of Sunday’s game. Tied at 3-3 in the top of the 7th inning.
• 10 minutes after game conclusion – Regularly scheduled Tuesday game begins.
The third game of the series has been rescheduled as a double-header with Arizona Heat on Saturday, August 14 at 1:05 p.m.
Racers tickets for Tuesday’s game will be available at the Firestone Stadium ticket office from 9 a.m. through game time tomorrow. Tickets range in price from five to nine dollars.
