Chicago rolls past Venezuela by final of 14-3

ELGIN - Prior to the Game Three between the Chicago Bandits and Venzuelan National Team, both of the teams biggest power hitters debuted the first "Battle of the Bats" home run derby promotion.
The pregame festivities were a foreshadowing of great things to come from the Bandits offense.

Chicago (8-7) hit three home runs and nine players scored as the Bandits outslugged Venezuela 14-3 Saturday night at the Judson Sports Complex. Tracie Adix pitched a complete game, allowing five hits.

Samantha Findlay hit a three run shot, her second in as many days. Jamie Clark and Rachel Folden hit the other two jacks. The Bandits were shutout in the first inning but scored runs in the teams last five times at the bat.

The Chicago Bandits and Venezuela will finish the four game set Sunday at 3:05 p.m. at the Judson Sports Complex.
